PG Law LLC was founded in 2025 by two seasoned attorneys, PJ Conboy and Griff Nowicki, who share more than 50 years of combined legal experience. Long-time colleagues and friends since their days at the University of Dayton School of Law, PJ and Griff built PG Law on a clear mission: to provide high-quality, personalized legal representation to individuals and families across Southwest and Central Ohio.
Their goal from day one has been to bring honesty, availability, and deep trial experience into every case. With backgrounds in criminal defense, family law, traffic and OVI, civil litigation, and more, PG Law is designed to meet the legal needs of real people who are facing real challenges in a professional, responsive, and results-driven way.

PJ and Griff’s story starts in law school, where they forged a bond based on shared values and a love of litigation. Over the years, their careers took different paths. PJ, practicing both solo and as part of established partnerships, is building a reputation as one of the region’s most relentless criminal trial attorneys. But both saw the same need in their communities: clients were craving legal advocates who were not only competent but also present, ethical, and invested in outcomes.
That’s what inspired the launch of PG Law. They wanted to create a different kind of law firm, one that prioritizes client service, transparency, and accessibility, while also delivering top-tier results in the courtroom.

Meet the Founders of PG Law
PJ Conboy
Attorney at Law | Criminal Defense, Family Law, OVI, and Civil Litigation
PJ Conboy is known for his steady hand, practical advice, and deep care for every client who walks through the door. He started his career with internships in law firms and the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas before opening his own solo practice. Later, he joined Staton, Fisher & Conboy LLP, gaining valuable experience in both criminal and family law.
PJ is a Super Lawyer in multiple categories, including Family Law, Criminal Defense, and OVI/DUI representation, a testament to his legal knowledge and the results he achieves for clients. He is licensed to practice in both Ohio state courts and federal courts.
Beyond the courtroom, PJ is a dedicated husband and father of five. He enjoys coaching youth sports, attending his kids’ activities, and staying active in his community.

Griff Nowicki
Griff Nowicki has spent over two decades trying complex cases before Ohio juries. With more than 150 criminal jury trials to his name, he is known as a fearless litigator and a fierce advocate for his clients. His straightforward, responsive style has earned him the trust of not only clients but judges and attorneys across the state.
Griff’s legal career includes partnerships at Findlay, Johnson & Beard, Nowicki & Vonderwell, and Nowicki Law Group LLC. He has handled everything from felony charges and OVI/DUI cases to juvenile delinquency and family law matters.
Griff is also a husband and father of ten. He’s famous among clients for saying, “My office is my car, and my office line is my cell phone,” because he knows the importance of being available when clients need help most.
